Beat the Boy Scouts

      In Proverbs  Its interesting to me that the first instruction in the book was to honor your father and mother. But that seems to be one of the main things that i struggle with (I should probably not even be making this Blog) As most people reading this know proverbs is a book written of wisdom and for wisdom. This book has 31 chapters so you might have heard the phrase (to read you're proverb today), something about that for me is that when i dive into proverbs to read the proverb of the day God shares something to me that would help me in a recent problem I've been having. And I've realized that the more i get into the word the more he stands out in his word and in his world. so i ask for some prayers that I would live out what i read each day, and that you do as well"

Separate Thoughts:

       Proverbs 10:5 A child who gathers crops in summer is wise. But a child that sleeps at harvest time brings shame.

        I'm afraid that we live in a time where most people go hungry... the church today see's a problem and says "someone else will deal with it" or "Ill just wait and Let what happens happen"

        I have a friend that recently helped a lady at the grocery store with her bags. The lady politely commented "oh you must be a Boy Scout."... My friend was startled... he noticed something is wrong, like you should as well. (Sarcasm)-> "How is it that a group of young boys with good morals go out into the world and use them, and people recognize them for their good works?..." we are all called as Christians to live our lives like JESUS (period) It is sad and truly amazing that the church has strayed to the point where Boy Scouts get recognized for good works, rather than the group of people who are supposedly living their lives like the CHRIST who SAVED us!! So I guess what my challenge and prayer is, is that we beat the Boy Scouts. And to not be a church that lets people go hungry. 

1st Thessalonians

       A letter to Thessalonian Church where Paul, Silas and Timothy are writing. First they acknowledge that their Church has Change; how when Paul told them of Christ it wasn't just pushed off as words but it  entered their lives and CHANGED them. It says that they let the Holy Spirit convict them, and that through that conviction they grew in numbers and in faith! They then write that "people from other churches looked up to them, and that they didn't need to say anything anymore but that their LIVES were the message." It says The people of this church left their old lifestyles and then embraced the true God, and When they embraced God they were free of Errors, Mixed Motives, and Two Faced Behaviors.
        They go on to say that the Thessalonian Church was so outstanding not only for how they changed but how they persevered through all of the Troubles Satan sent them and how even though they were being attacked they shined through that darkness, and that they are praying for the Church. Then Paul says 1 Thes 4:3 " God Called you to live a pure life free from sexual promiscuity, Learn to appreciate and give dignity to your body" He says for the Church not to worry because God will deal with ANY problem they come to, and that all they Have to do is love each other (Period) if the Church would spend as much time loving Each other as they do complaining that (the sermon was to long) or (I didn't like the Music) than  all of those other things in our mind would not even matter to us anymore!!
        The Church of Thessalonian GOT IT and all Paul had to say to them was that they are doing as God wants. my prayer is that the Church of today would live as the Thessalonians Church being Pure, and worry less and that we LOVE each other all the time, Because that is what Christ Wants.
